HELEN Flanagan is forced to admit she has a secret boyfriend while on Celebs Go Dating – and confesses she is “in love with him.”

We recently told how Coronation Street alumni Helen’s boyfriend had been “written into” the series as a show first.

The Sun reported how initially, bosses had helped cover up her secret relationship with the ex-Morecambe and Burton Albion striker.

Yet now fans will be able to see the drama play out as she opens up on her relationship with former footballer Robbie Talbot, 44.

Rosie Webster actress Helen, 34 – who is a mum of three – drops the bombshell following a fast-flirting event.

The Celebs Go Dating singletons had been tasked with an event to task their skills under pressure, and were armed with buzzers and a deck of “get to know you” cards.

Yet Helen’s confession brings the fun-filled antics to a standstill

She is seen wearing a sexy lace cut-out dress and standing in the centre of the room as she tells the experts of her struggles with the game.

She says: “Unfortunately I am comparing everyone to him [Ronnie]

“And it’s making it very difficult now when I’m dating.”
“I think I am in love with him.”

The segment comes just a day after Helen was seen weeping when she revealed her “situationship” with boxer David Haye

Previously, a source told us: “Helen tried to keep the relationship under wraps because of Celebs Go Dating.

“But that’s become difficult as their feelings have grown for each other. It came to a head when she was quizzed by the dating agents about why she was failing to pursue connections on the show.

The one rule of CGD is stars must be single.

“But E4 bosses were desperate to keep her, so found a way to write Robbie into the show.

“Sources on set have seen him filming alongside Helen. While it’s not known how E4 will justify the fakery, viewers will feel they’re trying to pull the wool over their eyes.”

A Celebs Go Dating spokesperson said: “During the filming of Celebs Go Dating, the executive producers discovered that Helen Flanagan was in a relationship outside of the CGD process.

Once this came to light, Helen was asked to be transparent with the agents and her fellow celebrities during her next filming day. As per the show’s guidelines, all participating celebrities must be single.

“After discussing the situation, it was decided that Helen and her partner, Robbie, would meet with the agents to assess their compatibility, and Helen would no longer date members of the public. These developments will be featured on the show starting from episode 10.”

Helen went public with Robbie at her birthday party on August 10, with pals saying she is “smitten.”

She got close go her second footballer partner following her split with sports star Scott Sinclair, 33.

The pair split in 2022 after a 13-year relationship, and share three kids.
