Brad Pitt willing to take drastic measures with Angelina Jolie to get his children back
Angelina Jolie has reportedly cut Brad Pitt off from most of their children, leaving the actor struggling to reconnect with his family. According to reports, Pitt is now considering reaching out to Jolie in an effort to mend his fractured relationships.
The 60-year-old actor’s bond with his children-Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox-has reportedly deteriorated amidst years of legal battles with Jolie.
Several of the children are said to have distanced themselves from their father, with some even choosing to drop the Pitt surname. Shiloh, for instance, has formally petitioned to be known as Shiloh Nouvel Jolie, while others have reportedly made informal name changes.
“Brad has not given up on his kids and it’s been incredibly tough for him to be so alienated from them. The longer it goes, the more painful it gets,” a source told RadarOnline.com.
“With the holidays coming, he’s feeling the heartbreak even more and he’s now saying he’s willing to do whatever it takes to get some time with them even if it means swallowing his pride and asking Angelina to show some mercy.
“Brad is weary of the endless court battles and is appealing to Angie to end the bitterness, not only to bring peace but to draw a close to the senseless spending on legal fees.”
Currently, only the youngest siblings, Vivienne and Knox, maintain contact with Pitt through scheduled visitation, leaving the famous actor largely estranged from the rest of his children.
Willing to end legal dispute over winery
Adding to the tension is an ongoing court battle over Chateau Miraval, a French winery the couple once co-owned. Angelina Jolie sold her 50 percent stake in the property to Russian businessman Yuri Shefler, a decision Pitt has legally contested.
“He’s willing to put an end to the lawsuit and be more agreeable in other matters if she lets him see his kids,” the insider added.
“He just wants a chance to spend a little time with them. On Thanksgiving, he’s planning to have his whole extended family over, and he knows they all love and miss his kids.
“It kills him that he’s estranged and will do whatever is absolutely necessary to break down those barriers.”
