Patrick Mahomes’ mom Randi Mahomes often uses social media to provide fans with updates about their family. The Kansas City Chiefs are in the midst of a long offseason following a blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl.

With the football season on pause, Randi is using the months away from Arrowhead Stadium to spend some quality time with her daughter Mia. On Sunday, Randi took to Instagram to reveal that she accompanied Patrick’s sister on a school trip to Washington, D.C.

“A special few days in DC with my girl!❤️” Randi said in an Instagram message on Sunday. “Loved getting to explore history, make memories, and soak up this time together on Mia’s school trip. Grateful for these moments that fly by way too fast!”

Randi posted a carousel of photos featuring herself alongside Mia inside the White House as well as several more historic sites in Washington D.C. The post comes as President Donald Trump’s economic policies have come under scrutiny, particularly amid the recent push to enforce tariffs.

Randi was vocal about her support for the president ahead of the 2024 election. President Trump revealed the two met before Super Bowl 2025 kicked off in New Orleans, La.

“I think for a president of our country, of the United States, I think it’s amazing,” Randi told Fox News when asked about the president attending the Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl matchup.

“I think whoever the president is, to support the teams, to support America’s best sport.… I think it’s really neat for a president to be able to support it. You know what, let’s do it.”
